With over 1,600 movies and shows, the STARZ App has nearly unlimited entertainment. Here are 5 of our favorites on the STARZ App.

1. Black and Blue
Starring: Naomie Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Frank Grillo
Genre: Action, Thriller
Rating: 8.5/10
Family-Friendly: No
Black and Blue follows U.S. Army veteran and newly-turned policewoman, Alicia West (Naomie Harris), as she seeks justice after witnessing the police officers she works with shooting an unarmed drug dealer. Meanwhile, West unintentionally films it all on her bodycam. If you’re familiar with Naomie Harris, you’ll know she’s not new to the action movie scene with her roles in James Bond and The Pirates of the Caribbean series. Follow Harris’ portrayal of West as she fights to do what is right in this thriller that will set your pulse racing.
Are you a Power fan? Then, you’ll definitely want to see this police-action thriller.

2. Night at the Museum
Genre: Comedy, Family
Rating: 6.5/10
Family-Friendly: Yes
Night at the Museum is an older movie, but an absolute family classic. Think Toy Story, but at the Museum of Natural History. Larry (played by Ben Stiller) is hired as a security guard at the museum only to discover that the exhibits come to life at night and wreak all sorts of havoc! We’re giving Night at the Museum a 6.5/10 because while it is an incredible kids’ movie, it falls short of achieving true success due to the somewhat cheesy nature of the plot. Plus, the acting isn’t exactly Oscar-worthy. Still, if you’re looking for something to keep the kids entertained for 108 minutes, look no further.

3. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie
Genre: Drama, Comedy
Rating: 9/10
Family-Friendly: No
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a true Tarantino classic. Over the course of more than 2.5 hours (you’d better have some time to kill!), Tarantino tells the intricate story of Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth as they navigate life in Los Angeles during the late 60’s. It even includes a whole historical angle, highlighting the stories of Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, and Charles Manson. Overall, the movie is excellent – Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt (who won an Oscar for the role) form a dynamic duo well worth watching. We would argue that it probably could have been a bit shorter, but in this age of quick-cut action movies, we don’t mind one that takes its time to tell a great story.

4. Zombieland: Double Tap
Starring: Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone
Genre: Zombie Comedy
Rating: 7/10
Family-Friendly: No
We must confess: we absolutely loved the first Zombieland movie (and so did most of the world, since it has a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes). You may have hesitations that a Zombieland sequel could keep up with the original, but you’ll be surprised. Double Tap is a fantastic addition to this story with a similar plot line (Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock escaping from a zombie apocalypse) and just as much awesome zombie-killing action. Lastly, you won’t catch us saying no to a Bill Murray cameo, which has become tradition in these films.

5. The Equalizer 2
Starring: Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders
Genre: Comedy
Rating: 7.5/10
Family-Friendly: No
Equalizer 2 is the sequel to the action-packed, The Equalizer. Retired U.S. Marine, Robert McCall, played by Denzel Washington, is determined to seek revenge after his friend, Susan, is murdered. Betrayal, loyalty and revenge come up time and again as McCall avenges Susan’s death and uncovers the twisted truth. If for no other reason, Washington’s stellar acting makes Equalizer 2 a must-watch film. So, while it may not have broken the box office, Equalizer 2 promises to keep you on the edge of your seat with every twist and turn.
