As an Instacart shopper, you have the freedom to create your own schedule. Unlike jobs like Uber, you’re not stuck in one place all day long. Instacart gives you the opportunity to get out of your house and move around. You get to be directly responsible for the customer experience, which means you’re making a difference to the senior who isn’t able to leave their house to grocery shop, or the parent who’s running around for the kids all day.
Thinking Instacart is your next move? Here’s how to sign up to be a shopper.
- Click on the “Become A Shopper” button below.
- Enter your zipcode to let Instacart know where you want to shop.
- After signing up, you’ll select your preferred role (Full-Service Shopper or In-Store Shopper).
- Next, you’ll create your profile and verify your identity. You’ll do that by taking a photo of your drivers license and taking a selfie.
- From there, you’ll confirm your shipping address so Instacart can mail you a preloaded Instacart payment card you’ll use to purchase groceries.
- Afterwards, you’ll sign paperwork and agree to a background check.
- From there, you’ll wait for your background check to be approved and for your Instacart card to come in –– and that’s it!
