I’ve been subscribing to Ollie for over a year now, and have been consistently impressed with the quality and freshness of their dog meals. My dachshund, Pia, used to be a picky eater, but with Ollie she always finishes her food, and is even excited when mealtime comes around!

Ollie believes every pup should have a long, healthy life, which is why they chooses to make dog food with only the highest quality of ingredients. But a long and healthy future is ensured by more than the food your pup eats – how that food is made and packaged also play a large part.

There’s no questioning Ollie’s quality, but I used to be a bit skeptical of their packaging. Ollie’s old trays took up lots of space in my fridge. Deliveries came once every two weeks, and resulted in a lot of cardboard and plastic waste in my trash.

However, Ollie has recently decided to revamp their packaging – offering puppy meals in smaller, slimmer packs! Ollie’s new packs (instead of trays) offer more meals in fewer shipments, reducing space and waste, so you can feel good about the food you put in your dog, and the packing used to send that food to you!

Like the old trays, Ollie’s new packs are delivered in cardboard boxes, and can be stored in your refrigerator or freezer (for longer freshness). The food inside might look a little different, but it’s made of the same high quality ingredients, using the same high quality standards, and (most importantly to Pia) tastes just as good as the food sent in Ollie’s old trays!

I’ve found that Ollie’s new packs are a lot easier to open – all I have to do is peel off the plastic and serve it into Pia’s bowl. Packs come with a new ‘pup-tainer’ and a lid to keep your dog’s meals fresh in the fridge. Instead of the old scooper, Ollie now provides you with a serving spoon, making it easier to portion your dog’s meals. Each delivery comes with Ollie’s updated feeding guidelines, customized to your dogs profile, so you can be sure you’re not feeding your dog too much – or worse, too little! Additionally, because the new packs are smaller, you’ll be able to get more meals in each box, reducing deliveries.
